P.V Sindhu was knocked out of the Australian Open Super Series in the quarter-final by World No.1 Tai-Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei. Sindhu won the first game before Tai staged a strong comeback to register a 10-21, 22-20, 21-16 win.Top seeded Tai now has a head to head record against World No.4 Sindhu at 7-3.
Later today, Saina will face China's Sun Yu in the last quarterfinal match.
