After KKR, Shah Rukh Khan Buys Team Cape Town in South Africa's T20 League

Shah Rukh Khan expanded his established Knight Riders Brand with the purchase of the Cape Town franchise to add to the teams he already owns in Kolkata and Trinidad. Apart from Khan, IPL’s Delhi Franchise owner GMR Sports has also picked up Johannesburg franchise in the T20 Global League. 

 Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced the eight team owners at The Bvlgari in London today. 

 "We are thrilled by the international mix of owners and the passion and excitement that was clearly demonstrated during the bidding process by them and the marquee players," said Cricket South Africa chief executive Haroon Lorgat. 

 The South Africa marquee players are Hashim Amla (Durban), Quinton de Kock (Benoni), AB de Villiers (Pretoria), Faf du Plessis (Stellenbosch), JP Duminy (Cape Town), David Miller (Bloemfontein), Kagiso Rabada (Johannesburg) and Imran Tahir (Port Elizabeth). 

However, no Indian player is expected to be a part of this league

3 girls from STAIRS represented Delhi in 34th National Sub-Junior Kyorugi & 8th National Sub-Junior Poomsae Taekwondo Championships 2017-18, held in Pune from 22- 25 March 2018 and won Gold, Silver & Bronze medals. The 3 underage champions, Gauranshi Vashisht won a gold medal under 25 kg category, Rishita Rawat won silver under 32kg category and Siyaa Mishra won bronze under 35 kg category. They were the only fighters who successfully won this championship from Delhi. They got their taekwondo training from STAIRS. It’s Groundhog Day as Arsenal disappointed yet again at the beginning of a new season as did the boss, Arsene Wenger with some questionable decision making. The Gunners extended their ignominious record of losing one of the two opening league games for the 8 th season in a row. After securing a record 7 th F.A Cup with Arsenal as manager, Arsene Wenger signed on for two more years, despite much publicised calls from the Gooner fan-base for his sacking (including flying banners by plane).
