Afghan cricketer scores T20 double hundred !!!

The past few months have been quite eventful for Afghanistan cricket. After the dream debut for Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi in the recently concluded Indian Premier League, their national team performed exceptionally well in their series against West Indies. Their constant good performance over the years have been rewarded by the ICC with a Test Membership status.

Adding another highpoint, yesterday wicketkeeper batsman Shafiqullah Shafaq scored a quickfire 214 in just 71 balls. In his breathtaking knock, he hit 21 maximums and 16 boundaries. The match was played in a local tournament (Paragon Nangarhar Champion Trophy). With the help of his 214, his team Khateez Cricket Academy scored a massive 351 and in the process handsomely defeated Kabul Star Cricket Club who scored only 107 in reply.

Shafaq has made a total of 35 T20I and 20 ODI appearances for his national side, making his T20I debut for Afghanistan against Ireland in 2010. A regular member of the team, he was part of Afghanistan's campaigns in the last three editions of the ICC World T20 (2012, 2014, 2016).

Why is Sehwag calling this man 'INCREDIBLE' ??? You need to know this

Indian Cricketer Virender Sehwag is a popular man on Social Media these days. His funny tweets also known as 'SEHWAGISM' are always trending. His humour can be seen in the commentary box as well. Lately, he has been in the news for his 'Baap Kaun Hai' tweets referring to the India-Pakistan rivalry. But, he was on a completely different mood on Sunday. Away from his usual dose of humour, he posted about a man he found incredible. He referred to Padma Shri Jadav 'Molai' Payeng, also popularly known as the 'Forest Man' of India. Since decades, he has been planting trees on a sandbar of the river Brahmaputra turning it into a forest reserve also known as the Molai forest after him. It is located near Kokilamukh of Jorhat, Assam, India and encompasses an area of about 1,360 acres / 550 hectares. Incredible but true, his forest has deers, rabbits, rhinoceros and also TIGERS. TRULY INCREDIBLE!!! Now, go google him and read about this amazing man.
