Wimbledon Upset: 3rd seed crashes out

World No 3 Karolina Pliskova was a pre tournament favourite. But as it has been seen many a times earlier, rankings mean nothing on the day of play. In a major shock today, much lower ranked Magdalena Rybarikova defeated the 25 year old Czech 3-6 7-5 6-2 in Round 3. With defending champion Serena not being a part of the Wimbledon this year and World No 1 Angelique Kerber not in her best form, Pliskova was a favourite this year.
