FIFA U-17 WORLD CUP draws out. INDIA in GROUP A against three intriguing opponents!

With less than THREE months to go for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, football fans in India are going gaga over the extravaganza.

The tournament will kick-start on 6th October with 24 countries competing against each other to win the predominant trophy. The final will take place on 28th October this year at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. This is the first time India will be hosting such a mighty event.
Nigeria, the defending champions, will not be in the competition as they failed to qualify for the tournament, becoming the second team after Switzerland in 2009 to do so.

The tournament will be played across six venues, Salt Lake Stadium (Kolkata), Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium (Guwahati), Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Kochi), Fatorda Stadium (Margao), Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (New Delhi) and DY Patil Stadium (Mumbai).

India has been placed in Group A, alongside the United States, Colombia, and Ghana. They will start their campaign against the USA on 6th October 2017 at 20.00 IST, with Colombia lined-up next on 9th, followed by Ghana on 12th October.

Indian Football has a chance to touch new heights this October. Qualifying from the group stages, if not more, would do wonders. All they need is full power support from the Indian fans.

Brace up, India.

Sri lanka's most experienced death bowler Lasith Malinga looked a shadow of  his past and this didn't help matters either. However, Pakistan played a really good game of cricket and didn't let the pressure get to them for which they are known for. Pakistan wil...
